April’s the name and charity shopping is my game. I’m a self-confessed charity shopping shopaholic!
I’m so excited to been given the opportunity to guest blog monthly on The-Thrift, courtesy of the fabulous Barnardo’s Retail.
I will be blogging at the end of every month, sharing my Barnardo’s hauls, outfit finds for under £10’s, Q&A’s, seasonal outfits, customising charity shop wear and much more!!
All outfits you will see and read about have been purchased by me from different Barnardo’s shops. I’m kicking off my first blog with one my favourite January buys, keep scrolling to see how I style it.
First off we have one of my current favourite outfits! Everything I am wearing (apart from the distressed tights) I purchased from my local Barnardo’s!
Black velvet choker – 99p
Leopard print blouse – £2.99
Black dress – £3.99
Reversible jacket – Barnardo’s vintage range – £8.99.
Original Dr Martens – most definitely my most wearable wear that I brought back in 2015, such a steal at just £4.99.
Other than my Dr Martens these are one of my favourite pairs of shoes that I’ve purchased. They’re so comfortable. I love dressing them up with long skirts or dresses and for a more casual look I’ll pair them with a pair of black leggings and an oversize tee.
Black painted studded spike creepers: £7.99
Finally, one of my big January finds in the vintage range of Barnardo’s is this gorgeous faux fur coat. It keeps me extremely warm and is perfect for this cold snap.
Before you ask, yes it’s as warm as it looks!
Chocolate brown faux fur coat: £13.99
I hope I’ve inspired many of you to get out there and take a trip to your local Barnardo’s. Keep your eyes peeled for next month’s blog. I’ll be sharing my ideas on how to end the stigma around charity shop shopping, and of course sharing some more fabulous finds.
Peace & love
