Hey, my name is Blaise Tykal Simmons-Johnson, but my nickname to everyone at home is drama queen! I’m 20 years old and I’ve been modelling professionally for just under three years now and I’m also an actress.

I enjoy taking part in sport and dancing is one of my favourite things to do. I also love to cook and read. My star sign is Gemini which means I can be a little crazy but the good kind of course!

My aim for 2017 is to continue everything I was doing in 2016 but bigger and better, achieve my goals and travel the world.

What was your favourite look from the shoot?

My favourite look from the shoot was the long trench coat, dress and heels. I didn’t think I would find something so fashionable in a charity shop and it’s something I wouldn’t usually wear.

Did the shoot help change your perception of charity shopping?

The shoot definitely helped change my thoughts on charity shopping, and for the better. I didn’t realise what fabulous clothes you could find pre-loved.

What is your signature styling trick?

I love to change my style, so what I wear all depends on the mood I’m in. I love Americans style and how they dress.

How do you glam up an outfit for a night out with the girls?

If I have an outfit that is quite standard I tend to add jewellery, a nice pair of heels and experiment with hair and make-up. I also like to try different ways of wearing clothes, like turning a long top into a fun crop top with a hair band. Instead of wearing a shirt buttoned up, unbutton it halfway or fully and put a top under it.

Who is hot right now on the fashion scene?

I follow a lot of fashion bloggers on Instagram; I’m in love with Kehlani, Rihanna, Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid. I feel they are really hot at the moment.

Who is your style crush?

Rihanna never fails to disappoint and I love how she doesn’t stick to one style, she isn’t afraid to switch it up!

What three items would you take to a desert island?

Denim shorts, baggy t-shirt and my eyebrow pencil – can’t live without that!
