Slogan Tees

Hey, my name is Gianluca and I am a menswear fashion blogger! In short, this means I buy clothes that are way overpriced, take pretty pictures for my Instagram account, pretending to have a great time, and then return all of said items because… of the expense!

That is, unless I go charity shopping!

Charity shopping is great for a number of reasons. You can find amazing vintage pieces, therefore always staying bang on trend, you’re guaranteed to find a bargain, and it can be incredibly rewarding if you find that perfect piece to add to your wardrobe.

G 2In today’s blog post, I would like to talk about a trend that has been up- and- coming this summer. It started off solely through womenswear and is slowly creeping its way into the wardrobes of well-dressed men. Inspired heavily by T-shirt designs of the late 80s and early 90s, I would like to bring your attention to the Slogan Tee. Due to its rising popularity in the 90s, charity shops usually hold wide ranges of pre-loved slogan tees at affordable prices!

Ever put on an outfit and it was just missing something? The black jeans/white T-shirt combo is getting a bit old and you are feeling neither trendy, nor fresh? Well, the slogan tee is the perfect way to improve any outfit. It can add a burst of fun to an outfit as the slogan can literally be anything! It can range from a random number to a phrase in a language you don’t even speak. It can be a brand’s name or even Bugs Bunny’s face on your chest.

The additional colours and graphics of the slogan tee make it a perfect counterpart to a boring plain t-shirt and will most certainly help any outfit pop! So, why not head down to your local Barnardo’s and get those statement tees working for your wardrobe.
