The official Charity Fashion Live video has launched! London Fashion Week AW/17 looks recreated just moments after they appear on the LFW live stream by Charity Fashion Live – filmed in Barnardo’s Brixton using ONLY what stylist Emma Slade Edmondson finds there at the time! Watch and see if the CFL team can prove that charity shopping […]
Charity shops are my favourite for many different reasons, but for one reason in particular; I can ALWAYS find an outfit under £10 or less! I love setting myself challenges whilst I charity shop, just to make browsing that more fun!
It’s already April, (where has the year gone?) and we’ve got another round up of our top #mybarnadosfind posts, and we’re certainly feeling the love for Spring.
Here’s our top #mybarnardosfind picks this week…
Graphic stripes have made a huge comeback for S.S 16, with designers such as Dolce and Gabbana and Missoni heavily featuring the trend within their collections this spring, and it’s easy to see why with the next two finds…
Upcoming actress and model Danielle (@danielleksharp) bought this candy-coloured dress in our Immingham store for only £2 – to say we are jealous that we didn’t get there first is an understatement.
We love the candy cane coloured stripes, waist-belt and v-neck cut. Perfect for summer!
As part of the Barnardo’s Retail team, I thought it was about time I got out of the office to see for myself the delights that can be found nestling amongst the rails of our stores.
Flanked with our Marketing Manager Charlie, I hit the streets of Dunfermline, Dalgety Bay, Edinburgh and Glasgow to source my very own #MyBarnardosFinds!
Now, I’m a massive collector of brooches. I literally can’t get enough of them and our stores are absolutely teaming with them. Always take a peek in the glass cabinets as that’s where you’ll find the best ones in all sorts of shapes, colours and sizes and all at around £1.99 each. Here are three that I used to jazz up a plain black winter coat.
With a noticeable drop in temperature, it’s time to wrap up warm and and find the perfect winter coat. That doesn’t have to mean spending a lot – there’s always a huge range available in Barnardo’s. I found this gorgeous grey wool coat for just £10. Military is making a big comeback this season, so these buttons make the coat bang on trend. Or, why not stand out from the crowd and make a statement with a bold colour? This gorgeous red 80s style coat was a steal at £8 and will brighten up many a dark winters morning.
