“RE-WEARING is COoL!
HEY I’m Emma Carline and today I want to talk to you about rewearing your clothes, EVEN those statement pieces you don’t think you’ll wear again.
I was searching through my archive, and I came across these images and knew instantly that I needed to re-wear this top!
I thrifted it at least 5 YEARS AGO! & it is still in my wardrobe. I wear it every summer, it’s truly timeless!
This item of clothing, as well as many others in my wardrobe hold a story and a meaning. For instance, I remember wearing this top to Parklife festival in 2018! I remember dancing, lauging, smiling and joking with my friends. I made some amazing memories in this top, and I will continue to do so over many more.
Just because you’ve worn something to a festival or ” big event ” doesn’t mean that you can’t wear it again! I know it takes away a lot of the wearability, but we buy clothes to WEAR them. Not just to display them once, but truly LIVE in them. So make them memories, and hand me downs for future generations – and share those memories with them.
So don’t be afraid to re-wear! Honestly, it’s one of the coolest things you can do. For you and the planet.”

Next up in our Fashion Love Stories series is the gorgeous Soph, effortlessly stylish and an absolute charity shop queen. With so many beautiful pre-loved pieces to chose from, check out just one of her clothes love stories below.
“The jacket and skirt are items that I had looked around for, for so long, as they originally sold out on ASOS and Nasty Gal. The skirt was £90 on ASOS but I managed to get my hands on it for £15 on a for sale site – and it was brand new with tags. The Nasty Gal star jacket, I picked up for £5! The outfit gives me major Debbie Harry vibes, and as she’s one of my forever style icons, I’ll always take inspiration from her.
When looking around at the charity shops, my main tips are to look around in all sections, even the men’s! I’ve bought small jackets before from the men’s section that are amazing and would’ve cost a fortune in shops. I’d also say, don’t just limit yourself to your own size, look around in all size sections as every brand fits differently, and especially for vintage pieces – the sizing has changed so much on women’s clothing in particular over the decades, labels won’t always be correct.”
