This week marked the end of Winter and the start of Spring (yay) so we’ve found some #mybarnardosfind looks that sum these two seasons up…and patterns seem to be the key theme.
Hels, (@thegreen_flamingo), bought this patterned stream-lined dress from our Canterbury store, and matched it brilliantly with a black leather jacket and heeled ankle boots. Very biker chic! We’re sure this long number will be perfect on its own when it gets warmer in Spring, or the addition of some colourful accessories will brighten it up.
Hels also found this unconventional skirt in our Canterbury store for only £3. The tan bag and leopard print shoes compliment the hints of brown in the skirt whilst the white T-Shirt teamed with a navy blazer is a great contrast to the red. This skirt will certainly jazz up most looks. Great work Hels.
Charlotte (@charphoenix) found this genuine Ted Baker leather bag for only £5.99 in our Tow Low store in County Durham. The cute little zipped pocket at the front will be great to put essentials in to save you rummaging through your entire bag (we all do that, right?). With a long strap and simplistic pattern, it’s the perfect bag for a night out.
Michelle (@vintagesummers) found herself a bargain with this £3.95 green zig-zag short sleeved jumper from a Barnardo’s store in Hull. The mint green is very spring/summer so we’re sure she’ll get a lot of wear from it. The green flowers in the skirt almost match the colour of the top which makes a cracking combo, whilst the belt creates a curvy silhouette and breaks the look up nicely.
And finally…this outfit just screams spring what with the high-waisted patterned blue shorts, yellow flowery plimsolls and delicate white shirt with lace neckline. Can you believe this adorable ensemble was only £10 from our Barnardo’s stores? White shirts, patterns and floral wear were some of this season’s hot trends in LFW so Flower Child blogger Daisy Saunders will look very much the Fashionista when she wears this out.
Cheers Barnados 😁 xx
