It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – My favourite festive outfits – by Martina Davis

With Christmas just around the corner, what better excuse do we need to update the old wardrobe with sparkles, sequin, glitz and glam? It’s the perfect opportunity to dress OTT, shine bright and stand out. With high street stores selling out of their Christmas must-haves fast, the best way to avoid the horror of being dressed the same as someone else is to get rummaging in your local charity shop for that perfect unique party show-stopper.

As most of you know by now, I love a bit of pink to make the boys wink! This stunning Topshop number was one of my best buys at only £10. The beading detail gives it instant character, meaning you don’t need to worry about adding lots of accessories to it, as the dress speaks for itself. The colour is fun and flirty and the shape of the dress will hide a multitude of sins from all the festive food we will no doubt be indulging in!
